Padma
The ancient Balinese Hindu Priest Danghyang Dwijendra called Bali – Padma Bhuwana, which means the Lotus flower for this planet.
So its no wonder that Lotus flowers are highly regarded in Bali. Balinese temples have many structures within them and the Lotus throne, or the Padmasana is one of the most important. The Padmasana is a tall tower upon which the lotus throne is located. It is the throne of Sanghyang Widi Wasa – the Supreme God.
How happy I am when I see the lotus has blossomed in the garden…
